OTK Shaft Gripper – Steering Shaft Holding Jig for Kart Toe Setting

Description

Stop fighting the shaft.
If you’ve set toe with a bungee cord or a pair of vise grips, you know the shaft drifts while you adjust. Then your numbers drift with it. The Shaft Gripper holds the shaft straight so you can focus on the toe.

How it works
Two halves clamp around the shaft and are pulled tight with two socket head cap screws. The assembly seats in the top yoke of an OTK steering assembly, so it stays put while you work. Use it with your laser setup just as you would with the shaft held by hand, minus the hand.

Fit

• Designed and tested for OTK steering assemblies.
• Other yokes or shafts: we’d like to try it on yours. Send us your yoke brand and model, your shaft diameter, and a photo of the yoke. If it looks workable, we’ll tell you honestly whether we think it will fit, and we’ll work with you on a test fit.

Material
3D printed in ASA/ABS. Don’t leave it in a hot car. Hand-tighten the screws, since over-tightening can crack any printed part.
